A Westport, CT girl is celebrating her 10th birthday… this very night.

Her Mother Jill sent a request, “I saw your work online and would love to have a print done of my two dogs. I just want to find out if you can do one from the attached photo. It’s for my daughter whose birthday is on Thursday. She will love it.”

Yes! She added, “They are both cocker spaniels and the larger spotted one is Grady and the little one is Lucky.” Theirs are certainly cute pooches. Adorable, really. I’d be delighted.

The low-res photo Jill sent of the pups showed them separated by a few dark dining chairs, and gave little in the way of background details. Hmmm. Gadora had to think of something. I wanted to skooch them closer together, and suggested she send a shot of her daughter’s favorite place. Her room? The doggie park? You tell me.

She promptly emailed a few of shots from the Birthday Girl’s fetching room. They were perfect! And Gadora got busy on repositioning her Pups.

“We got the painting today right before my daughter got home from school and she was absolutely thrilled with it.  She said “this is the coolest thing ever ~ where did you get it and how did you get them to sit still for so long in my room!” My other two daughters said they each want one for their birthdays in their rooms. It really is fantastic – thank you so much!”
